Eugen Brühwiler, Professor and Dr. Structural Engineer, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, Switzerland will present "Getting More Out of Existing Bridges." Prof. Brühwiler will demonstrate how novel engineering methods and technologies can be implemented in structural engineering with the goal to provide a next service duration to existing bridges.  The lecture will be illustrated by application cases including several bridges of high aesthetic and cultural value.

The Structural Engineering Institute-Lehigh Valley will be awarding 1 PDH credit to eligible attendees.

Light refreshments will be served in the  lobby outside Whitaker Lab 303 beginning at 4:10 pm.
