Fisheries Information Exchange - Friday, February 7, 2025 | 1:30 – 3:30 PM

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Fishing and Boating Services is hosting an in-person meeting opportunity called the Fisheries Information Exchange. It is an opportunity for fishermen (recreational, commercial, for-hire) and agency representatives to ask each other questions and get answers before the busy season gets underway. We are planning to have DNR programs, the Natural Resources Police, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Highly Migratory Species, and NOAA Office of Law Enforcement staff present that can answer questions about permitting, licensing, regulations, reporting, scientific collection permits, highly migratory species, catch card census, enforcement, and possibly more.
